Bantwal, Dec 2: Our Lady of Vailankanni Church, Farla, celebrated the Confraternity Sunday (Kompricho Aitar) on Sunday, December 1, as a preparation for the parish silver jubilee celebration which will be held on December 8.

The day began with the adoration of the Holy Eucharist from 7.15 am to 8.15 am. After the adoration, a majestic procession was taken out to honour the Holy Eucharist. The entire parish community participated in huge numbers on this blessed day. One set of musical band, beautifully decorated vehicle carrying the Holy Eucharist, the choir of the parish, the prayerful singing of the parishioners, and the colourful decorations all along the way added magnificence to the entire celebration.

After the blessing solemn Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr Maxim Gerald Rosario, diocesan estate manager. He was accompanied by parish priest Fr Claudy Vas.

The ceremony helped the entire parish community to prepare spiritually for the Parish Silver Jubilee celebration.
