Bengaluru, Dec 1: In a shocking modus operandi of drug traffickers, unearthed by the city police, Dark Net, Bitcoin, Wickr Me and baby milk powder containers were used to transport drugs. The operation conducted by the drug lords was spread over two continents.

The city cops announced that they have successfully busted the racket by arresting a man of Kolkata origin.

Hydro ganja, a highly processed variety of Marijuana was being peddled by Atif Salim (25), the accused who is in police custody now, who used to buy this from a drug cartel of Canada through Dark Net, a network of secret websites. Most of the communication went through Wickr Me, a messaging platform, which uses end to end encrypted messages in communication. The payment was made through Bitcoin.

The matter that shocked the police was the way in which the drugs were being supplied to the buyer. Baby milk containers were used for transporting these drugs, which were hidden below layers of chocolates and jelly candies. These baby milk containers carrying drugs were then wrapped with Amazon and delivered through DTDC courier service.

Salim used to sell three-fourth of the supply to the customers identified by the Canadian drug cartel and kept one-fourth for his personal customers. The market price of the drug was Rs 3,000 to 4,000 per gram. Each baby milk container was stuffed with 2.7 kg of Marijuana which was neatly packed in 14 packets.

Now it is known through investigation that Salim used to sell this drug, which he converted into hash oil, to his customers in Bengaluru and other cities in the country. Marijuana worth Rs 1 crore was confiscated from Salim by the police according to the information shared by Bhaskar Rao, Bengaluru police commissioner.

Chocolates and mint were laced with Marijuana by the traffickers in order to drag starters and make them get addicted to the drug. The CCB has confiscated 12 chocolates in addition to three small Marijuana crushers that were used to make powder and also 100 tubes mixed with hash oil that was used in e-cigarettes.

A weighing machine, Rs one lac in cash, a two-wheeler and a Skoda car was also taken into custody from the accused.

This is happening in India means there no serious punishment. Nobody knows who's hand is in this. If Government make law like Gulf countries, automatically everything will alright. Atleast 90% we can reduce.

Jossey Sir... Our India is heading properly... What to do...?? Our citizens, those who have to contribute towards the growth of our India's prosperity are heading towards it's destruction... Instead of building our nation we are trying to make it fall... It's the sad situation of our country...if everyone respects and think good and work hard in a decent way... Our India definitely will head towards progress... Right?
