If you pause the video from 0:01 to 0:04 sec at the beginning, it is very clearly evident that the truck driver was on the process of avoiding hitting to another auto rickshaw which was taking right turn abruptly. This case wont stand. as simple as that. Anyways, RIP

I have complained about traffic offences and the traffic police have been able to collect fines from less than 20% of the offenders. They send notices which take months to reach the offenders, honest people pay up dishonest just get away with it.No further action is taken so people are not afraid to break rules and precious lives are lost.

My humble request with Traffic Department and MCC that first install speed brakers ( humps) in almost all circles to save available lives from this type of rash driving especially from trucks and Bus drivers. Simply don't spend time in inaugurations and photo publicity.

This is equal to murder...the van driver has come to right side of median, he is dragging the rickshaw just to park his vehicle on left side. Had there was no CCTV, he would have easily escaped law by saying he was on left side... depriving someone of their life in such rash act is equal to a terror act. Court should punish this driver to maximum possible in law.

Really a very shocking tragic death on this road which I never thought of.

In fact I /we travel on this road so many times and yesterday I happened to travel on this road to reach home .A very reckless truck driver..the video is very much scary.

There should be some speed breakers on this road. Poor teacher who lost her life must have never expected it.Rest in peace dear teacher.

Also the rickshaw who was just dragged ..hope the rickshaw driver recover soon...One has to be so careful these days....No one can predict what happens next. Safe driving. God bless us all.

Can't believe in such a small region.. so many accidents every single day....that causing for loss of life ..
Why..? Is anyone concerned or acted upon to fix the broken system..?
    Reasons:
    >Lack of Defensive Driver Training
    > Lack of proper Traffic RULES Enforcement..
    Solution:
    >Fix it by Showing NO-MERCY Attitude on Traffic rules breakers....that is only the way..
    RIP to innocent Victim.

Kadri Kambala Road is not a high risk driving lane if cautious while driving, Teacher had some bad luck to get into this tragic situation.

Seems sheer nigligence of the Truck driver. First of all he might not have been a local driver. Local drivers might not have involved in this stupid type of driving. All ouside registered vehicles drive in stupid way.

Especially registration with KA 20, 21. 18 , 47, 05. 02 and vechiles from KL. The Mangalore TRAFFIC Police should make a serious note on these type of registered vehicles. The traffic DCP should take serious action on this accident.

All Heavy vehicles and trucks should be resticted and banned plying through all side of Kadri Kambla Road because all big vehicles are not necessary in this small lane type Road. A sign board should be placed immediately by police to avoid more accidents and taffic condgestion through this road.

The Auto driver might not have dreampt in his sleep also that he would be expecting a fearful accident. My high condolonces to all the people affected. Be Alert Mangalore Traffic police.

    What a tragedy.
Heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
The Kadri Kambla junction is a death trap with vehicles plying at breakneck speed flouting all traffic rules. It is time traffic calming measures are put in place to prevent any more tragedies.

It is sad to note that another person lost her life because of an accident. It is rather early to comment on the tragic death. Police investigations will reveal the cause of the death.

I join several others in offering my sincere condolences to the bereaved members of the family of the deceased teacher.

there is no need for police investigation at least in this case. Anyone who has eyes can very well see that the Eicher truck was speeding up and took a vicious right sway on the wrong side to avoid hitting the oncoming traffic from pinto lane side.

Only the cause as to was the driver drunk or on mobile or lost control needs to be checked.

The inefficient traffic police of Mangaluru does not even analyse where speed breakers are required and where they are not and you are one person who constantly support the police department inspite of their 1001 mistakes.

    Joe Gonsalves sir
With due respect to you, and your interest in Traffic system,
I request with you that if is within your efforts, please put pressure on Traffic department and MCC to install Humps ( speed breaker) in all circles within Mangalore city limits. Otherwise we can't control the vehicles speed. Mangalore is very small city and city bus, service bus are all moving inside the main city. Press the Traffic and MCC to shift the service bus stand out side and speed breaker in all circles. Don't care these service bus owners. If you do this really great.

i think the driver of eicher was either drunk or speeding up to reach somewhere or on mobile for sure.

What a tragedy? The way the autorickshaw is dragged for so long says that Eicher truck driver was at high speed.

RIP teacher. Really scary as I am a resident of Bejai itself and never thought that it will happen on Kadri kambla road.
