I feel proud that I am sending my daughter to this reputed St Mary’s institution.” He concluded his speech by wishing the athletes and the schools taking part in AICS meet all the very best.
Speaking on the occasion, Fr Valerian Mendonca, correspondent, St Mary’s Educational Institutions said, “Sports torch, which was lit, symbolizes spirit of game and sports in the field. St Mary’s institution tries to foster relationship and friendship among all the schools participating in the sports meet. I hope older records are broken and new records will emerge today. There is great joy in participating in the event and hence no one is a loser. Important thing in life is not conquering but fighting well.
