Udupi: Eightieth Birthday Celebration of Admar Mutt Seer Vibhudeshateertha on Aug 26

 Udupi, Aug 23: The eightieth birthday of Admar Mutt seer and correspondent of 26 education institutions under Admar Education Trust Sri Vibhudeshateertha Swami will be held at Poornaprajna auditorium in a public programme here on Wednesday August 26 at 3.00 pm.
 
A celebration committee has been formed at the honorary chairmanship of Sri Vidyadeeshateertha Swami of Palimar Mutt, said committee honorary secretary and MLA K Raghupati Bhat at a ress conference held here on Saturday August 22 evening.

Sri Sugunendrateertha Swami of Puttige Mutt will release the souvenir on the seer on the occasion. The programme will be presided over by Sri Vishwapriyateertha Swami of Admar Mutt.
 
Home minister and committee executive president Dr V S Acharya , higher education minister Arvind Limbavali and Manipal University chancellor Dr Ramdas Pai will be the chief guests on the occasion.
 
Committee members Dr Ni Bi Vijay Ballal, U K Raghavendra Rao, Dr G S Chandrashekar, professor Radhakrishna Acharya, Professor M R Hegde, Ramachandra Upadhyaya, K S Subrahmanya Basri, professor Sadashiv Rao, Govind Raj and Muralidhar Upadhyaya Hiriyadka were present.

    I had the rarest privelege of studying in the Adarsha Gurukula founded by Shri 1008 Shri Vibhudesha Teertha Swamiji for 7 years. I will be ever indebted to the the Mutt and Swamiji for the knowledge, sanskaras etc I got from there. Sashtang namaskaras to His Holiness. May he be there to bless us for a long long time!

    Congratulations and best wishes to my beloved swamiji. Many many happy returns of the day my dear swamiji. I wish good health and long blissul life to u sir. The swamiji was pioneer in edcuation field and established many trusts. I was lucky to have studied from one of his colleges viz Sri Poorna Prajna College, Udupi and passed B.A. in the year 1979. I am proud to be associated with this college.
