Bengaluru: Eyebrows raised as Congress leader Laxmi Hebbalkar meets Yediyurappa

Bengaluru, Nov 14: Influential MLA representing Belagavi rural constituency, Laxmi Hebbalkar, met chief minister, B S Yediyurappa sometime after the Supreme Court verdict was out, and held discussions with him. Hebbalkar is considered close to D K Shivakumar, and her meeting gets added importance because of the announcement made by disqualified MLA, Ramesh Jarkiholi, of bringing with him some Congress leaders from the district into the BJP.

The meeting was held at Yediyurappa's residence at Dollars Colony here. Later, Hebbalkar shared her photo with the chief minister on Instagram. She claimed that she met the chief minister to discuss development works in her constituency.
