Bengaluru, Nov 11: On Sunday, Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai stated that the State government would implement the recommendations of the Raghvendra Auradkar Committee in the next month to revise the pay scale of the police force.

Addressing the press, Bommai said, "The government has taken a decision on implementing the Auradkar report and it has been forwarded to the Finance Department. The process of implementing the report is underway and the new pay scale would be given from next month."

On his views over the SC verdict on Ayodhya case, Bommai said that the court decision has effectively balanced the sentiments of both the communities. He alleged that the landmark judgment would help in eliminating jealousy and hatred among both the religious groups and would pave the way for brotherhood and communal harmony.
