Mangaluru, Oct 31: As a noble gesture, the staff of Blue Lady Saloon Mangaluru voluntarily did hair cutting of inmates of St Antony Ashram, Jeppu.
To encourage the social service attitude for staffs and with the slogan of ‘Service along with business’, the management planned the programme of hair cutting of elderly people who are residing at the ashram.
Veena, the owner of the firm said, “We are very happy to do something good for old aged people who are at St Antony Ashram. Earlier, we planned many similar charity programmes, but we felt hair cutting of inmates is very meaningful and which very close to our business. I thank the management of the ashram for allowing us to do our service.”
“After haircutting, we saw a happiness in the faces of inmates which made us very happy. We felt we are doing a divine job. We interacted with them and succeeded to give a feel that we are their own children,“ said one of staffs, after the programme.
The management also thanked Blue Lady Saloon and its owner for their service.
