Mangalore: Police Arrest Two for Illegal Possession of Pistol

Mangalore, Aug 5:  Two persons were arrested by the Mangalore rural police near Adyarkatte for illegal possession of a pistol with criminal intent, on Wednesday August 5.

The arrested are Sudhakar Achari (32) resident of Kolkebail near Adyar, and Harish Rao (28) resident of Ramanagar in Bajal. Police seized an unlicensed pistol and five live bullets from them.



Sub inspector Prakash K and his team arrested the two when they were checking vehicles near Adyarkatte on a tip-off. The accused were traveling on a motorbike (KA 19 W 244) at the time.   

The police said the duo is wanted in some other cases also with Harish being involved in a robbery also.

Police registered the case and are continuing the investigation.

    Yes you are right! but I wonder why police did not encounter them, recently one of police officers ordered that, if found anybody with arms, they should be shot at, is that order only for minorities?

    Dear Lancelot, No one is a born criminal.Criminals are made by the situation and environment,i.e. so many forces influence a person to become a criminal. I pity them for their situation.
