Mumbai, Aug 4: Metro-based Bunts Association organized a scholarship distribution programme for the community students, at Bunts Centre located at Juhi Nagar, Navi Mumbai here, recently.  The programme was presided over by the Association president, lawyer Ashok D Shetty. 
 
MP Sanjeev Naik, who participated as the chief guest of the occasion, distributed the annual scholarships to the community students. 
 

Ullas Nagar entrepreneur Prabhakar J Shetty and Ramesh Shetty Mulund were the guests of honour.
 
Association vice president Jayant K Shetty, honorary treasurer Santosh Kumar R Shetty, education committee executive president Ramesh T Shetty, cultural committee executive president Gopal Y Shetty, women’s wing executive president Veena C Shetty and others were present on the dais.
 
Sumati R Shetty rendered the prayers.  Honorary chief secretary, lawyer Ratnakar V Shetty proposed vote of thanks.  Secretary Sunil Shetty and Dayasagar Chowta compered the programme.
 
‘Yenkulu Mata Nerekare’, a Tulu comedy play, written by playwright Nandalike Narayan Shetty and directed by Manohar Nandalike, was staged as part of cultural programmes, on the occasion.
