Maharastra Governor S C Jamir Takes Additional Charge as Governor of Gujarat

Mumbai, Aug 2: The Governor of Maharashtra S C Jamir, on Thursday July 31, took oath as the Governor of Gujarat. Jamir has been given the additional charge of the post of Governor of Gujarat. Governor Jamir was sworn in at Raj Bhavan, Gandhinagar, at 7.30 pm on Thursday July 30.  Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi was present. 

The activists of Yuva Foundation led the protest against Reliance Energy and Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC), for their monopolistic practices, at Andheri, here on Thursday July 30.

Madhya Pradesh former chief minister and AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh, on Thursday July 30, arrived at Tilak Bhavan, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee office, for a review of forthcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra.
