Bangalore, Jul 29: Former IPS officer Subhash Bharani joined Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Tuesday July 28 quitting Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Speaking to presspersons after joining the party, Bharani said that he would be contesting on a BSP ticket in the coming by-elections from Kollegal reserved constituency. He was serving as Karnataka Silk Industries Corporation president and has resigned from the post.
Bharani had contested and lost from T Narasipur during the last assembly election on a BJP ticket.
