Mangaluru: National level conference held at Srinivas University

Mangaluru, Oct 11: College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Srinivas University, city campus, Pandeshwar, organized a national level conference on the theme 'Mobility, Stability and Sustainability: Challenges for Social Science, Management, IT & Education' at the college at Pandeshwar campus.

The inaugurator of the conference was Dr K V M Varambally, former director, Institute of Management, MAHE, Manipal. He said, "We live in a society which is contributed to us by our ancestors and we need to protect it for our next generation. In the development process each organization must take responsibility of preserving nature.

Dr P S Aithal, vice-chancellor of Srinivas University presided over the function. In his addressal, he stressed, "We have to make, use and preserve traditional technology along with the Nanotechnology.

The convener of the conference, Prof Pradeep MD, Dr Laveena D’Mello – Dean, CSSH were present on stage. The proceedings of the previous conference were released along with the abstract proceedings of the current conference. The research scholars and teaching faculty from Srinivas University presented the papers in the conference. More than 50 research papers were received and presented in the conference. All the papers presented will be published after review in international journals along with ISBN proceedings.
