Mangaluru: Yenepoya Teacher Award – Applications invited

Mangaluru, Oct 11: The Yenepoya Moideen Kunhi Memorial Educational & Charitable Trust, Jeppinamogaru, Mangaluru announces the ‘Yenepoya Teacher Award -2019’ to encourage excellence and innovation in the field of education for (i) Primary School Teacher/ Head Master and (ii) High School Teacher/ Headmaster from Dakshina Kannada District. The teacher can be from any Government/ Aided / Unaided institution either under State or Central Govt. scheme. The Annual Award consists of an amount of Rs 10,000 each and a citation to be presented on the Founder’s Day, November 14.

Those who are applying for this award need to have the following eligibility criteria:

1. The applicants should have completed 10 years of teaching service.
2. They should have proven track record of merit and excellence in the field of education.
3. Teachers who are already selected for any State /Central govt. awards would not be considered.

A committee comprising of experts in the field of education has been formed by the Trust for selecting teachers for the Annual Award. The teacher should submit the application form along with all necessary documents attested by the Head of the Institution / BEO on or before the deadline.
