Mangaluru: Srinivas Institute of Technology inaugurates Computer Society of India

Mangaluru, Oct 4: At the inaugural function of CSI (Computer Society of India)- Student chapter, Srinivas Institute of Technology held on September 30, Shamnas C V, CEO, Socialhoox, Manipal was chief guest of the function.

Shamnas C V, in his inaugural address spoke about the current technology changes and urged the students to update their technical skills. He encouraged the students to make use of the platform that CSI provides to fine-tune and showcase their skills and talents. He also insisted that students explore their opportunities.

Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college, in his presidential address, urged the students to share their knowledge and actively participate in the activities of CSI as a team.



Dr Shivakumar G S, HOD, department of Computer Science, encouraged the students to make use of the CSI platform to improve their leadership qualities and exhibit their talent. Prof Mohan K, student branch coordinator, CSI student chapter, gave a brief overview of CSI and also introduced the office bearers for the academic year 2019-20.

The programme was welcomed by Anarghya U, president, CSI while Sharath Kumar, secretary, CSI delivered the vote of thanks.
