Mangaluru: Laksha Shetty’s Tulu album song ‘Bolli Chukki' released

Mangaluru, Sep 30: Laksha J Shetty starrer Tulu album song ‘Bolli Chukki' was released on Sunday September 29.

'Bolli Chukki’ Tulu album song is directed by Roshan Alva, under R J Cine Productions. Laksha is paired with Shrdish Shetty. ‘Bolli Chukki’ has received good response on social media since its release.

Laksha hails from Kodialgutthu, the daughter of Jaya Shankar and Malathi, has a sibling Chaithra.

Laksha will be seen playing the lead role in Hindi movies ‘Stone Dairies’ and also ‘Jillka’ which is shot simultaneously in Kannada and Marathi. Laksha will make her Sandalwood debut through ‘Dheeran’ directed by Swamy Y B N.



Speaking to Daijiworld.com, Laksha J Shetty says, “I never thought of entering the field of fashion modelling. One of my friend motivated me to get into modelling. First up I took part in Coastalwood fashion show. The photo shoot came really well. Santhosh from Gold’s Photography promoted my pictures so well that I started getting offers for serials and movies.

“I play a tomboyish character in Hindi movie ‘Jillka’. It is a beautiful love story. ‘Stone Diaries’ is a horror movie. In ‘Dheeran’ I play the role of a girl from middle class family.

“My mother has been very supportive and guided me throughout my career. My mother and my sister are my strength.

“The crew with whom I have worked so far have made me feel comfortable. They never treated me as a new comer. I learned a lot during this process. I am looking out for characters which includes different types of variations,” she adds.
