Mumbai, Apr 4: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt recently shared heartwarming insights into her childhood travel experiences with her mother, veteran actress Soni Razdan. Despite their family's connections to the film industry, Soni Razdan ensured that her daughters, Alia and Shaheen, were brought up with practical values and financial discipline.
In a recent interview, Soni Razdan recalled a memorable trip to Dubai during Alia’s childhood. This decision was made to effectively manage expenses, showcasing Soni’s emphasis on financial prudence despite being part of a well-known film family.

“There was never any excess money,” Soni Razdan remarked, highlighting that Alia and Shaheen were raised with a typical middle-class upbringing. This approach aimed to instill humility and an understanding of the value of money, shaping Alia’s grounded personality despite her later success in Bollywood.
These childhood experiences, marked by simplicity and practical choices, left a lasting impact on Alia Bhatt. The actress has often credited her upbringing for helping her stay humble and appreciative of life’s simple pleasures even as she rose to stardom.
