Media Release By: Alwyn Alva Bahrain Bahrain, Jul 19: Karnataka Social Club Bahrain held their second major function in as many months since the New Managing Committee had taken over. The July Rose Beauty Contest was held at the banquet hall of Papillon Restaurant in Manama was well attended by its members There were 8 contestants and Susan Miranda was chosen as the July Rose 2009 and the Runner up Pamela Kamath.
The night full of activities were very entertaining involving the Ballroom dancing, Cinematic dances by the children and the main event of July Rose. The upcoming DJ Sydney Correa kept all sections of people on their toes and the members enjoyed the function with good music. The President of the Club Maxim Sequeira once again thanked the members for their contribution to the club and made an emotional plea to all members to make efforts to bring in atleast one new member to increase the total strength of the club. The function ended with a sumptious dinner
