Puttur: Accused of theft from house at Aryapu village arrested - Gold chain recovered

Puttur, Sep 24: Puttur rural station police have arrested Ibrahim Kalandar (31) resident of Koyila village, Kadaba taluk in connection with theft that occurred in the house of Ranjith Rai, Aryapu village in Puttur rural police station limits on July 3rd this year. The suspect was arrested by Puttur rural police station sub inspector and staff at Vittal on Monday, September 23.

Gold chain weighing 20 grams worth Rs 50,000 which was stolen and sold by the suspect is seized by the police. The suspect is produced in the court and remanded to judicial custody.
