Mangaluru, Sep 20: Dr Ushaprabha N Nayak, vice-chairperson, Expert Educational & Charitable Foundation®, here, has been selected as a member of the zonal advisory board of Life Insurance Corporation of India.

At a function, V S Kumar, branch manager LIC in the city, officially handed over a letter to this effect. The programme was attended by Jagadeesh V Goli, development officer LIC, Mangaluru, Deepika A Nayak, Prof Ramachandra Bhat, principal, Karunakar Balkur, HOD of department of Kannada, Expert PU College, Kodialbail and Suresh Kamath, public relations officer of Expert Group of Institutions.

Dr Ushaprabha N Nayak will serve a two-year term on the board, whose purpose is to discuss, review and make recommendations on all matters affecting the proper development of life insurance in the south-central zone of LIC. She has given her valuable services in the past two years and now she is re-appointed for another two years’ term.
