The closing ceremony of JCI Week of JCI Suratkal was held at Govinda Dasa College Suratkal.
The event was inaugurated by an immediate past president of JCI Zone fifteen Rakesh Kunjur, speaking on inaugurating he congratulated JCI Surathkal's team for organizing the JCI week programme, in an effort to reach the society. As a guest Karvali Sports Surathkal's proprietor Yashomati Ravindran said, the goal of most NGOs is to live in peace. And JCI is also an organization founded for the sake of world peace. In this regard, she commemorated JCI Surathkal social activity. Another guest, Nagarika Salaha Samithi president, Surathkal J D Veerappa, wished to program.
Immediate past president Praveen Shetty, Jaycerette chairperson Anita S Shetty, junior Jaycee president Ananya J Ullal, programme director Hariprasad Shetty, past presidents, office-bearers and members of the JCI Surathkal were present. Baby King and queen completion prizes were distributed. Various other organization and JCI members were honoured for the cooperation for JCI activities during the year. JCI week chairmen Sujeer Shetty read the program report. Gunavathi Ramesh invited the guests to the dais. President Lokesha Rai K presided over the event and welcomed the guests. Joint secretary Shisheer Shetty proposed a vote of thanks. On this occasion, JC Shridhar Shetty was honoured with a Kamala Pathra award in recognition of Jaycee and social service.
