Kasargod, Sep 16: The intelligence wing has confirmed the information that fake passports menace has of late proliferated in Kerala state.

As per the indications the wing has got so far, most of these passports are obtained by traitors for undertaking anti-national activities. It is said that Kerala government had been warned about such activities in the past. It is learnt that Kerala government failed to initiate enough measures to regulate them.

The information received by the intelligence agencies have confirmed that some who possess fake passports have links with terrorists based in foreign soil. In this backdrop, National Investigation Agency has begun a thorough probe into the cases of fake passports.

It may be recalled that during the year 2011, over 200 persons living within the jurisdictions of Hosdurg and Ambalattra police station limits had obtained fake passports.

As alluded to by 'k b r' below, India's claim for digital excellence is a hollow one.

India boasts of so many Central intelligence-gathering and investigative agencies. Yet, a few small-time counterfeiters have been highly successful in outsmarting such agencies for decades!

It may be best for the Central Government to sack the senior administrators of these agencies, and replace them with the counterfeiters at a hefty pay.

this shows how corrupted our country is. Every nook and corner and every department is stinking of corruption. Right from attender to the top officers are reeking of corruption and this is the result of such things.
Only in mouth they say patriotism, when they see money they forget everything.
In the same way id cards were provided by the officials to the terrorists who attacked Mumbai in 2008
Pointing fingers after the attack is of no use. First arrest corrupted officers and everything will fall in place.

The Kerala government, is fully aware, of these tratiors, whose intentions and goal are similar, to the secessionist pogroms, that has been perpetrated in Jammu and Kashmir.... by turning a blind eye, these political parties in the state, are abetting the destruction of South India, for the sake of power !!!! They cannot create another Pakistan in Kerala !!!!!!!!
