Mangalore, Sep 14: As a part of the academic curriculum the students of 3rd BA Journalism, St Aloysius College (SAC) organised a PR event on Saturday, September 14 at their college Sanidhya hall.
The event begun by invoking the blessings of God. The prayer song was sung by Rachel Furtado. Iola Quadros welcomed the gathering.
The chief guest for the day was Gopalkrishna Bhat, sub inspector Kadri traffic station.
The chief guest in his address to the students spoke about the new ammendments in traffic laws and enlightened them with the road Safety awareness. He also further clarified the doubts the youngsters on the road ethics. He further added there are people spreading wrong information about the ammendment but there are good things in the ammendments which need to be focused.
Adarsh P A, student of 3rd BA Journalism gave a presentation and a keynote address on the road safety ethics.
Head constable of Kadri traffic police station Niranjan spoke to the students and told them to begin the revolution of road safety from their home. He said the students to follow the road gears as to wear helmets seat belts so that if any accident takes place the impact or the injury would be less. He further gave a call to the students to spread a word among their near dear ones.
