Mangaluru, Sep 14: The department of Business Administration MBA and department of Computer Application MCA of Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Kenjar, here, organised the inauguration programme for its 12th and 13th batch of first year students respectively.

The inauguration cum orientation programme was held on September 13 at Shree Devi Institute of Technology, Kenjar and inaugurated by A Sadananda Shetty, chairman, Shree Devi Education Trust, Mangaluru.

A Sadananda Shetty delivered the presidential address introducing the new students to the life at college from academics, co-curricular activities to resources and support services. He highlighted the new mentoring programme introduced in the college which enables the students to overcome challenges they may face during their course of study.

Dr K E Prakash, director, Shree Devi Institute of Technology welcomed the new batch of students and wished them well for their course of stay at Shree Devi Institute of Technology.

Dr Dilip Kumar K, principal, Shree Devi Institute of Technology addressed the gathering and gave an overview of the MBA and MCA programme.

Dr Nethravathi P S, HOD, department of MCA introduced the guests and the vote of thanks was proposed by Professor Venkatesh A S, HOD, department of Business Administration.

Dr Gayathri Babu was the coordinator for the programme, Professor Shwetha Shetty, department of Business Administration was master of ceremony for which students and parents were the audience.
