Bantwal: Entrepreneur dies of suspected dengue

Bantwal, Sep 13: An entrepreneur here died of suspected dengue on Friday, September 13, without responding to treatment. 

Prashanth Saralaya is the person deceased. He was a partner in a business named Sapta Ventures. 

Prashanth was suffering from fever and was treated in a hospital in Puttur. As the fever relapsed four days ago, he was admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru. But he breathed his last without responding to treatment this afternoon. 

Prashanth hailed from Delampady near Puttur and was temporarily staying near Peramogaru, Bantwal. 

Prashanth has left behind his parents, wife and two children. He was an active member of Puttur Jaycees. He had become partner in Sapta Ventures after working as accountant there for several years. 

District malaria control officer, Dr Navin Kumar, said that the matter will be verified after obtaining report from the hospital.
