Mangaluru: Day-long FDP held at Srinivas Institute of Technology

Mangaluru, Sep 10: The department of Computer Science & Engineering, Srinivas Institute of Technology, Mangaluru, organized day-long Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “’Cloud Masters 2019’, in association with ICT Academy and AWS Educate on September 6.

Mohammed Hafeez ur Rehman, technical trainer, ICT Academy, in his inaugural address said “Technological advancement is rapidly changing our present and future perspectives.” He also highlighted the fact that current trends in IT industry is advancing so rapidly that new developments are quickly replacing current projections.

Dr Shrinivasa Mayya D, principal of the college, in his presidential address motivated the faculties to stay tuned with the latest technological trends, encourage a culture of knowledge sharing and skill sets. Dr Shivakumar G S, HOD, CS&E was present on this occasion. About 40 faculty members of various colleges attended the programme.

The programme was coordinated by Prof Padmanayana, associate professor, department of CSE and Prof Kayva Hegde, assistant professor, department of CSE. The whole programme was compered by Jeevan.
