Bengaluru: CM Yediyurappa, MP Shobha visit flood affected areas, inspect relief measures

Bengaluru, Aug 27: Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and MP Shobha Karandlaje accompanied by local MLA visited Baloor, Javali and Malemane areas which are affected by heavy rain and landslides. They inspected relief work, listened to grievances and accepted appeals for help from people.

The chief minister met Suttur Shree and Sadguru Vasudev in JSS educational institute premises in Jayanagar in the morning on Tuesday and discussed about floods situation in the state.

Suttur Shree handed over a cheque of Rs one crore on behalf of the math for chief minister’s natural disaster fund. Udupi–Chikkamagalur MP Shobha Karandlaje was present.
