Karkala, Aug 27: “The games of Mosaru Kudike remind us about the childhood of Lord Krishna. The rural sports should strengthen our religious faith and highlight our culture,” said Belman gram panchayat president, Varija Salian.

She inaugurated the sixth annual Mosaru Kudike rural sports programme held by Jantra Friends Club at Punarukere school grounds.

Subhedar Ravindra Pai who retired after thirty years of service in the Indian army was felicitated on the occasion.

Association president Pradeep Acharya presided over the programme. Punarukere School, headmistress Emilda Pinto, school progress committee vice president Vishwanath Prabhu, honorary president Sushanth and others were present. Shailesh compered the programme. Secretary Nargesh Poojary proposed the vote of thanks.
