Hassan, Aug 24: JD(S) state president, H K Kumaraswamy, said that the electoral understanding with the Congress party is on the verge of getting snapped.
Speaking to reporters in the city on Friday, August 23, Kumaraswamy suspected that Congress high command may have worked behind the scenes, going by the accusations made by former chief minister, Siddaramaiah, against JD(S) top leadership.
"Siddaramaiah spoke as if his party is not interrested in continuing with the understanding. If they do not want the understanding, we will not be insistent on it. This development has made workers of both the parties sad. The current situation does not give rise to hope. JD(S) can never get associated with the BJP. We will field candidates in all the constituencies for the bypoll," he explained.
