Bengaluru, Aug 24: Former minister, Zameer Ahmed Khan, placed the entire blame for the crash of the coalition government in the state on former chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy and other JD(S) leaders.
Speaking to media persons at the residence of leader of the Congress legislature party, Siddaramaiah, Zameer said that he fails to understand the claim of Deve Gowda that the government failed because of Siddaramaiah. "I was aware that ministers and legislators in the coalition government were unhappy. It is not right to place the onus for the wrongs committed by the JD(S) on Siddaramaiah," he opined.
Another former minister, Cheluvarayaswamy, said that the government collapsed because of the wrong attitude of Kumaraswamy. "We kept quiet at the advice of Siddaramaiah, although we faced lot of harassment in our constituecies at the hands of JD(S) leaders. JD(S) never took Congress leaders into confidence," he said.
