Mangaluru, Aug 22: Tulu film ‘Girgit’ is all set to become the first Tulu movie to release at the same time in Coastal Karnataka and Gulf countries. The film will be releasing at 14 theatres across UAE, Oman and Qatar on August 23 and will be screened till August 28.

‘Girgit’ is directed by Coastalwood and Sandalwood actor Roopesh Shetty and Rakesh. The film is said to be 100 per cent comedy. Roopesh Shetty and Shilpa Shetty are playing the lead in the film. Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Umesh Mijar and others are in the cast.

It has story and script by Roopesh Shetty and Keerthan Bhandary. Joyel Rebello and Darrel Mascarenhas have provided music. Prasanna Shetty Bailur has provided dialogues. The film is getting ready as the production of Manjunath Attavar and co production of Deekshit Alva. It is produced under the banner R S Cinemas.
