Kasargod, Aug 21: The attack on Our Lady of Mercy Church, Manjeshwar has led to public outrage. While the pressure on police department to nab the miscreants behind the incident is building up, they still seem to be clueless.

Investigations are underway, and the police are examining the CCTV footage which has captured the stone pelting by a masked man.

Our Lady of Mercy Church priest Fr Vincent Saldanha led a delegation and met state director general of police Loknath Behra in the DC’s auditorium during Police Adalat and submitted a memorandum to him.

The DGP assured speedy investigation and expressed confidence on nabbing the suspects at the earliest.

Currently, the security at the church is tightened. Forensic experts have arrived and conducted investigations.
