Bengaluru: SOS Children tie Rakhi to CM Yediyurappa

Bengaluru, Aug 15: Young members of the SOS Children’s Village in Bengaluru, which is a largest independent, non-governmental and non-profit international organization with headquarters in Austria, tied Rakhi to chief minister B S Yediyurappa as part of the Raksha Bandhan celebrations in Bengaluru on Thursday.

Prior to participating in the Independence Day parade at Field Marshal Manekshaw Grounds in the city, the Chief Minister garlanded the statue of Krantiveer Sangolli Rayana to mark his 222nd birth anniversary near the Bengaluru City Railway Station.

 

Bengaluru Central BJP MP P C Mohan, MLA V Somanna, Mayor Gangambike were among the dignitaries who accompanied Yediyurappa.
