Mangaluru: ICYM Cordel pays visit to White Doves Psychiatric Nursing and Destitute Home

Mangaluru, Aug 12: ICYM Cordel Unit, on the occasion of National Youth Day, paid a visit to ‘White Doves- Psychiatric Nursing and Destitute Home’ Kulshekar on Sunday, August 11.

The manager Gerald along with the children and inmates of the home welcomed the youth of cordel parish. ICYM members spent some time with the children and the inmates and entertained them with songs, dance performances, action songs and various games conducted by the youth.

All the children and the inmates were very happy and participated actively in the activities. Fr Lawrence Cutinho, assistant parish priest and assistant director of ICYM Cordel Unit motivated and encouraged the children and the inmates with the few words and thanked all the White Doves officials for providing the youth an opportunity to serve.



All the children, inmates and the ashram staffs thanked all the youth of Cordel for spending their valuable time with them. Breakfast was distributed to all by youth and clicked a group photo with all the children and the inmates. As many as 40 ICYM members were present. Vernon Crasta compered the programme.
