M'luru: MP Nalin appeals to secretary of Civil Aviation to start flights to Pune, B'luru from city

Mangaluru, Aug 8: MP Nalin Kumar Kateel met secretary of central civil aviation department Pradeep Singh Kheral at New Delhi on Wednesday, August 7.

He urged him to start flight services on Mangaluru-Pune and Mangaluru-Bengaluru sectors.

The secretary of Civil Aviation department, who reciprocated to the appeal of MP Nalin, has assured to start the flight services in the requested sectors as soon as possible.

    Mangalore even has demand and potential to have nonstop flights to Kolkata ,Cochin,Goa,Ahmedabad and Trivandrum...Moreover Mangalore even needs to get additional flights to Mumbai and New Delhi and utilize the jet airways slots at Mangalore...Really wish and hope to see airlines start flights to these cities from Mangalore soon...I'm sure flights operating on these routes will definitely get good loads...Mangalore is one of India's main educational hubs and its high time that Mangalore soon get nonstop air connectivity to all major Indian cities and metros
