Mangaluru: Healthy baby show held in Bajpe

Mangaluru, Aug 7: Father Muller Rural Training Centre held a healthy infant competition for infants below the age of one year as part of the concluding programme of breastfeeding week on August 7.

Dr Anagha gave details of the importance of breastfeeding. Dr Jessy D’Souza, resident doctor of the centre gave information on the health care of baby and child. She also spoke on Dengue fever and asked to take preventive measures.

De Zohara Parveen, paediatrician, Fr Muller Medical college hospital and Dr Saurabh Kumar, professor of the college examined the infants.

The winners were presented prizes. Raghava Kamath was present as chief guest. Thirty infants took part in the competition. Local Anganwadi workers and Asha activists were present.



Dr Saurabh Kumar welcomed the guests. Izabel rendered the vote of thanks. Delson D’Souza compered the programme.
