Udupi: Missing 'Suvarna Tribhuja' boat - MLA Raghupati Bhat leads delegation to CM

Udupi, Aug 7: A delegation of fishermen leaders led by MLA representing the local constituency, K Raghupati Bhat, met chief minister (CM) of Karnataka, B S Yediyurappa at New Delhi on Tuesday August 6 and held discussions with him in the matter of fishing boat, 'Suvarna Tribhuja' which went missing along with seven fishermen on board under mysterious circumstances after setting sail from Malpe.

The delegation submitted a memorandum, urging Yeddyurappa to make sure that the families of fishermen who perished in the said tragedy get maximum amount of compensation.

Udupi and Dakshina Kannada Fish Marketing Federation president, Yashpal Suvarna, Malpe Fishermen's Association immediate past president, Satish Kunder and other leaders accompanied the MLA.
