Udupi: Parents' and Priests’ Day celebrated at Katapady church

Udupi, Aug 5: Catholic Sabha unit in association with Family Commission, Seminary and Religious Commission of St Vincent de Paul Church Katapady on Sunday, August 4, celebrated Parents’ day and Priests’ Day.

Fr Ronson D’souza, parish priest, inaugurated the programme.

Top scorers of SSLC and II PUC were felicitated on the occasion. Vincent and Leena D’souza were felicitated on the occasion for completing 50 years of marriage.



Walter Rozario, Gracy Monteiro, and Saloni Periera wished good luck for the priests in their mission.

Fr Terence CSC, Fr Wilfred Dias CSC, Leslie Suvares, vice president parish pastoral committee, Catherine Rodrigues, secretary Wilfred Lewis, convener 18 commissions Shanthi Monteiro, convener family commission Brayan Correa, president Catholic sabha Nelson Barnes, secretary were present on the occasion.

Laveena Periera welcomed the gathering and Brayan Correa rendered the vote of thanks. Alvita Fernandes compered the programme.
