Mangaluru: Man ends life by jumping into pond

Mangaluru, Aug 5: A person killed himself by jumping into Kenchanakere pond at Kenchakere junction on Mulky-Kinnigoli state highway on Sunday August 4.

The deceased has been identified as Yadav (56) from Kerekadu near Mulky. He jumped into the pond all of a sudden on Sunday evening. The locals immediately called the fire brigade. By the time he was brought out of water, Yadav had lost his life.

It is said that Yadav was frustrated on account of family problems. He is survived by wife, two sons and a daughter. Mulky police have registered a case of unnatural death.
