Bengaluru, Jul 20: “The coalition government in the state has lost majority. The government has no moral right to continue in power. If you value morality, step down from power,” urged BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa.
Speaking to media at Ramada resort, near Yelahanka here on Saturday, July 20, he said that the coalition government is ignoring the orders of the governor. “There is drought in the state, the government is neglecting the issue. Transfer of government officials has not stopped even though the government does not have majority. Karajola is alleging that BJP has kidnapped Srimanth Patil. But Srimanth Patil has informed through video and letter that nobody has kidnapped him,” he said.
“The policy of the government that they will not run the house until dissatisfied MLAs come back is not right. The government in a way has no shame and is not interested in running the house,” alleged MLA S R Vishwanath.
“Let Maharashtra MLA who entered the hospital where Srimanth Patil is admitted, bring back the dissatisfied MLAs and present vote of confidence. Wasting time unnecessarily is wrong. We do not know if they can persuade the MLAs who are away. People are watching the game. Let them present vote of confidence on Monday, if they have morality,” he urged.
