This is just " Tip of the Ice burg" dear Police Officials. How ever if you have these three people arrested, you could get a clue to other gangs may be. Drug menace is rampant in colleges in our twin cities of Mangalore and Udupi. This is an open secret and is a very dangerous one to think of.
Police officials are at times helpless since their hands are tied with various issues related to drugs and other related menace. Police department needs public support and college management co-operation in this regard. Punish these culprits in such a way that others would not even dare think of dealing with drugs anymore.
It is very easy for us to sit and give free suggestions, but youngsters are so smart that they over shadow our thinking and plan meticulously for successful operation of these issues.
Hats off Police department & good luck always.!!

Drug menace will not be solved by nabbing peddlers. Kingpins need to be pinned down.
These kind of actions on peddlers just will increase the cost of drugs, but will never decrease the supply.

Most of the narcotics drugs growers are surrounding twin districts where there are rubber estates and Kasargod (kerala). Since many decades villagers from kunadapura used to complaint about the drugs grower they are specifically using certain type of manures but authorities are not bothered to take action!

A decade ago, Forest department officer of Karnataka state probably of Mookambika wild life sanctuary range has explicitly mentioned about ganja cultivation in his annual report with clearly saying persons of particular state are directly involved. I think that report must be in dust bin by now. No action taken all political interference.

It is time that the mangalore police plugs all entry through proper checks at road points, airport points, railway point to prevent entry of drugs into mangalore. Students cannot be blamed. They get tempted. Instead of targeting PG owners and the students, it is time to nab the kingpins and ensure that they are behind bars for minimum 10 years with no parole.

Why people are after spoiling the environment and made DK number one district in illegal activities like cattle trafficking, terrorism..havala racket..sand mafia....love jihad...killing...theft...gold smuggling..etc. Is it time comes all animal owners should stitch designer outfits to all animals to safeguard the same from evil eyes. When these people will become a good citizen and become role model to society.
