Media Release
Mangaluru, Jul 8: Poco A Poco, will present an evening of choral music titled Positive Vibes’At Sri Sudhindra Auditorium, Canara Girls High School, on July 20. There will be two shows at 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm.
‘Positive Vibes’ is essentially an evening of choral music accompanied with the piano and a few other instruments, performed by an unlikely group of people consisting of entrepreneurs, techies, students, parents, artists, writers etc., who came together to live a melodic dream. This performance that is set to hold an audience smiling, joyful and charmed for an hour and twenty two minutes, consists of singing, a bit of choreographed and un-choreographed movement, a thin thread of witty dialogue running through the performance stitching one song to the next, some fabulous piano and acoustic drumming, and a few surprises thrown in.
Through its creative arrangement by a truly gifted director, pianist, singer, voice trainer and composer Shubira D’Sa, Poco A Poco’s ‘Positive Vibes’ is a showcase of range, technique, talent, and all-round performance in a presentation that this city is sure to find uniquely uncommon.
The team has had a round of shows in Bengaluru in early this year, with all four shows being sold out. After our shows in Mangaluru, they will be staging two more shows in Bengaluru in the month of July.
