Udupi, Jul 8: Dr K Shivan, chairman of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), along with his family, visited Sri Krishna Math in the city and Sri Mookambika Temple of Kollur on Sunday, July 7.
Dr Shivan offered special prayers to Sri Krishna for the success of Chandrayaana that is scheduled on July 15. Then he took the prasada from Paryaya Sri Palimaru Shri Vidyadheesha Theertha Sreepada.
Dr Shivan also visited Kollur temple and offered special prayers to Sri Devi.
He was accompanied by four people of ISRO. Assistant executive officer of the temple Krishnamurthy, member of managing committee Narasimha Halageri and priest Dr K N Narasimha Adiga welcomed Dr Shivan and felicitated him on behalf of the temple.
