We all know that Big hoardings are displayed near Hospital for Health tips / Cleanliness....
Road safety and Traffic rules on Signals & Roadsides....
Education & Coaching class hoardings near Schools & Colleges....

But why not display hoardings about safety rules & warnings / restrictios near sea sides so that the tourists can understand the situations.

Sorry for the sad incident. The victims are locals and they (and all) should be aware of the sea condition during monsoon. It is foolishness to venture into the sea even if they are expert swimmers.

This is the issue of the village panchayat / department of tourism for not appointing beach guards and proper beach authorities. There are people to collect cash for working but there are no life guards or any barricades to privent such incident. Blaming stupid people is easy, but how much are they doing it to prevent such incidents? I blame the authorities.

I am staying in a deluxe colony in udupi. We have 2 big swimming pools
There is clear notice board that no one below aged are not allowed to swim without any parents presence. I am watching parents leave their children's to swim. You mean the simcity has to keep swimming pool guard 24 hours? How to educate Indians.?

Which sane person will go for a swim when the sea is rough at this time of the season. This is nothing but stupidity or over confidence. Sad that young lives are lost. RIP

Sasihithlu is a beautiful, isolated beach..... few visitors go there, due to its location..... Monsoon is the worst time to swim, it is a sangam of rivers, entering the sea... as a result strong currents, drag even an accomplished swimmer to their watery graves... The rescued visitors are very lucky to have survived... RIP for the others dead....

It is a terrible tragedy that two lives were lost in Sasihithlu beach. May their lives RIP. Luckily two were recued . They should thank God and also those who rescued them. I have been there a couple of months back and I loved that place. But these guys took the wrong time to go swimming as the weather is unpredictable. My condolences to the bereaved families and loved ones.
