Udupi, Jul 6: "The inner conflicts of the coalition government are out in the open now. Congress should have been alert when Anand Singh had offered his resignation. The difference of opinion between former CM Siddaramaiah and DCM Parameshwar is the reason for this development. Siddaramaiah has provoked the Congress MLAs. Siddramaiah is the one, who has increased the intensity of the inner conflicts of the party. No need of pointing fingers towards Modi and Yeddyurappa. Former chief minister Siddaramaiah is the reason for the collapse of the coalition government," accused MP Shobha Karandlaje.
Shobha was speaking to the scribes in the city on Saturday, July 6. The MP further said, "MLAs who does not belong to the membership of any political party can come to BJP. Once the resignations are accepted they can join BJP. The state should get a government that will implement the schemes of Modi government."
"The chief minister (CM) of the state Kumaraswamy is on the tour of USA during the drought in the state. The CM got body massage when he was in Udupi. He played the drama of village stay and then flew to America. We have to wait and see as to what drama Congress will play when the CM returns from America. Governor has to notice the political developments in the state. If 15 MLAs resign, the coalition government will lose its majority in the assembly. Those who have resigned are not in touch with the BJP. The behaviour of the Congress leaders itself is the reason for the resignation of the MLAs," added Shobha.
Shobha Karandlaje further said, "Any one, who accepts the ideology of BJP and Modi can join BJP. G T Devegowda was with us earlier. If GTD is not happy in the present party, he can join BJP anytime. The entry of D K Shivakumar was too late to resolve the chaos in the coalition government. D K Shivakumar was responsible for the Jindal land denotification case. There is no use of going to the speaker's office to pacify the disgruntled MLAs now."
