Bengaluru, Jul 5: The war of words between former chief minister and chairman of the coalition government's coordination committee, Siddaramaiah, and former state president of the JD(S) H Vishwanath, does not seem to end.
Speaking to media persons at Mysuru on Thursday July 4, Siddaramaiah, addressing Vishwanath in the singular, commented that Vishwanath was unable manage the post of the state JD(S) president for even six months. He questioned the credentials of Vishwanath to pass comments at the former. He was reacting to the statement made by Vishwanath that Siddaramaiah and chief minister, H D Kumaraswamy, had failed to properly discharge their responsibilities. Siddaramaiah wondered what reaction does Vishwanath, who was unable to even properly handle the party post he was holding, expect from him. "Vishwanath neither has the capacity to speak about the coordination committee nor the morality. He always keeps questioning the capacity of others to hide his own weaknesses. I pity him" he stated.
Siddaramaiah said that the coalition government is strong and will complete its full term.
Reacting to what Siddaramaiah said, Vishwanath commented that Siddaramaiah has no habit of respecting others. "He always addresses others in the singular. He blocked me from joining the coordination committee. I am not hurt at the fact that he derided me by addressing me in the singular. But I can say that he is unfit to be the chairman of the coordination committee," he stated.
Speaking at Bagalkot, minster for mines and geology, Rajashekhar Patil, said that Siddaramaiah does not need a certificate from Vishwanath. Speaking to reporters on Thursday, he said that the people have certified Siddaramaiah as the best chief minister and what Vishwanath feels about him is irrelevant.
