Bengaluru, Jul 4: JD(S) national president H D Deve Gowda, said that leader of Congress Legislature Party, Siddaramaiah, deputy chief minister Parameshwar, and minister D K Shivakumar, would be looking into the issue of resignations tendered by two Congress legislators. He was speaking to media persons here on Wednesday July 3.
Gowda pointed out that the coalition government is not facing any danger now. He said that there are able leaders to manage any kind of crisis and the resignation by Congress legislators has not created any problems. He also said that Anand Singh has resigned on account of differences over selling of land to Jindal and hence his resignation does not pose any problems.
"All the 37 legislators of our party are together. The remaining Congress MLAs too are united. The government is also on a strong footing and safe," he stated. He also analyzed that Rahul Gandhi cannot be held responsible for the defeat of the Congress in Lok Sabha election.
