Tumakuru: First in state - Mini ATM to be introduced soon

Tumakuru, Jun 27: As the cost of maintaining ATM machines is skyrocketing, Tumkur Merchants Credit Cooperative (TMCC) has decided to introduce Mini ATM facility soon to its customers. This would be the first time in the history of the state that these machines will be put into use.

15 counters are being opened throughout the city. Customers can swipe their ATM card in the swiping machine and the staff of the bank will disperse the amount immediately.

Speaking at a press conference in the city on Wednesday, June 26, N S Jayakumar, president of TMCC said that "he customers can swipe the ATM card of any bank of the country and can get Rs 10,000 in one swipe and a maximum of Rs 50,000 in five swipes."

"A person will be stationed near the mini ATM. The customers who arrive to withdraw the money have to swipe their card in the said machine. The person maintaining the machine will give them the specific amount. These machines will be put up in specific places in the city, according to the demands of the customers of the bank. These counters will be put up in 15 places in the city including our branch in the city and KSRTC bus stand,"added Jayakumar.
