Mangaluru, Jun 21: Manipal Arogya Card scheme is a social initiative of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) introduced 19 years ago to make medical treatment for the public affordable. The scheme is applicable in the Manipal Group hospitals in coastal Karnataka and 2 Dental Colleges namely Manipal College of Dental Sciences Manipal and Mangaluru.
For the first time this year Manipal Hospital Goa is also included and our upcoming hospital Durga Sanjeevani Manipal Hospital at Kateel will also be included and people can avail discounts here utilizing Manipal Arogya Card. The Manipal Arogya Card offers special discount of enrollment fee to all the existing members on renewal of membership and to the new members by paying a small amount of money.
From this year MAHE has introduced 2 years validity for the Manipal Arogya Card. Applicants can choose 1 year or 2 years validity as per their requirement. Those who renew or newly enroll under this scheme by June 30 can avail benefits from July 15.
Manipal Arogya Card is a blessing for the senior citizens. Generally it is very hard for the senior citizens to get enrolled under any health insurance scheme because of the age limit. But under Manipal Arogya card any senior citizen can enroll and get the benefits without any age limit.
Manipal Arogya card enrollment is made as simple as possible. For convenience of the people there are authorised Manipal Arogya Card representatives in and around the district. People can enroll themselves into Manipal Arogya Card Scheme by contacting our authorized representatives or get their card done at our Manipal Arogya Card Counter at KMC Hospital Attavar and KMC Hospital Ambedkar (Jyothi) Circle.
