Mangaluru, Jun 21: As per prediction based on low pressure area created over the Bay of Bengal and advancing monsoon winds, the meteorological department has predicted heavy rainfall during the next three days. The department has declared 'Orange Alert' on June 21 and the maximum 'Red Alert' meaning very heavy rains on Saturday June 22 in Kerala, Karnataka and Goa coasts. For Sunday, 'Orange Alert' has been issued.
The entire coastline of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts experienced good rainfall on Thursday with cloudy weather taking over when the rain took a break.
